Collections/Natural Areas Specialist

Description

Plans, coordinates, and participates directly in the development, maintenance and management of living plant collections, ecological restoration and land stewardship in support of teaching, research, public outreach, and conservation programs of the institution's botanical gardens and arboretum. Works directly with faculty and student researchers in the development of collections or natural areas as well as with the unit's educational director to develop educational programs related to the collections and natural areas. Education and experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience in horticultural or natural areas management. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
