Description
Working under immediate supervision, carries out architectural assignments of a routine to moderately complex nature with limited latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment. Provides services in the research, design, development, construction, alteration or repair of buildings and large structures. Collects and analyzes technical data to determine project requirements and prepares information regarding specifications, materials, equipment, estimated costs, and completion times. Conducts inspections and tests for compliance with laws and adherence to project specifications. Prepares and maintains records and reports. Applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education. May require the following proficiency: Work is closely supervised; Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex; Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
