Cost Analyst Associate

Description

Performs financial analysis to be used for strategic decision making, more accurate product testing, identifying opportunities for cost savings or more efficient methods and understanding how activities and their cost are linked to products, processes, and customers. Tracks monthly costs and production activity to provide insight into areas needing cost reduction and process or profit improvement. 0 - 2 years of professional experience. Entry level for degreed individuals, or equivalent combination. Knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization. Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks. Work is routine and instructions are usually detailed. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
