Description
In compliance with federal and state legislation and management's directives, conducts investigations into allegations of discrimination and harassment brought forward by faculty, staff, students, members of the public, and others. Conducts detailed internal investigations of practices to identify possible violations, and compiles and submits required AA/EEO statistical reports. Under supervision, uses judgment in determining investigative approach, analyses, and recommendations for subsequent actions and/or recommendations. Assist in the development and review of internal procedures and materials to ensure compliance with AA/EEO regulations. 0 - 2 years of professional experience.Knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization. Employees in this classification typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree.
