Case Manager Senior

Description

Provides management services with specific emphasis on new contract implementation, training and orientation of providers and facilities, and contracted customers. Provide clinical and administrative supervision to case management staff. Identifies and resolves complex problems within the organization and providers, contacted customers and members in service. Minimum of two years of recent clinical experience as an RN. Labor market typical education and experience: Employees in this classification are required to have a minimum of a Bachelor degree in a recognized field of science or learning which is directly related to the duties of the position. Employees typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree. Under FLSA, this is the exempt job classification for this title. Incumbents in this position must meet the full criteria for exempt status: salary level, salary basis, and duties tests.
