Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician Lead

Description

Responsible for the coordination of daily activities in the fabrication laboratory ensure optimal clinical flow. Maintains work schedules, reviews timesheets for accuracy and assists with performance evaluations for Orthotic and Prosthetic Technicians. Provides in service training, acts as a preceptor and coaches performance Orthotic and Prosthetic Technicians. Participates as part of the leadership team to ensure effective clinical operations. Involved in Lean Roles of Information, Materials and Process management. Fabricates and repairs orthoses/prostheses. Registration as an Orthotic and/or Prosthetic Technician by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics is necessary. This Classification requires registration, certification or licensure with the appropriate agency as identified on the Primary Source Verification Matrix. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
