Ophthalmic Technician Associate

Description

To perform basic tests and procedures under close supervision of medical and allied health staff, to include measuring and recording pupillary response and near and far visual acuity. Perform lensometry, laser visual acuity, baseline external exams, visual field tests, automated keratometry, and tonometry, tear testing, color vision esting, and stereopsis testing. This Classification requires registration, certification or licensure with the appropriate agency as identified on the Primary Source Verification Matrix. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
