Ophthalmic Imaging Specialist Intermediate

Under the supervision of the Manager of Ophthalmic Imaging or Ultrasonography. The Ophthalmic Imaging Specialist is responsible for providing a wide range of imaging services for all the subspecialties at the Kellogg Eye Center. This role works closely with the imaging team, physicians, fellows and residents to provide exceptional patient care and imaging. Performs ophthalmic imaging procedures for use by physicians in the documentation and diagnosis of eye conditions. Associate's degree in photography, medical imaging, life science or equivalent experience is required. Minimum of 3 years of ophthalmic imaging experience. Certified as Optical Coherence Tomographer Certification (OCT-C) or Diagnostic Ophthalmic Sonographer (CDOS) required. This classification requires registration or certification with the appropriate agency as identified on the Primary Source Verification Matrix. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
