Description
Provides assistance in preparing legal documents. Performs routine legal research and compiles data from such references as digests, encyclopedias, practice manuals or other sources. Prepares drafts of contracts involving leases, licenses, purchases, sales, insurance, employment, and related matters. Maintains file system for annual meetings and drafts documents for such meetings, including notices, proxies, affidavits of mailing, agendas, ballots, shareholders and directors minutes and related memoranda. Education: 2 years of formal legal training or equivalent. 2-5 years professional experience. Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization. Under supervision, performs work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
