Coordinates activities necessary for the healthy growth of turf areas. Fertilizes, aerates, waters, and inspects lawns. Plans, coordinates, and carries out the establishment and installation of turf. Diagnoses turf diseases, pests and nutrient deficiencies and determines corrective measures. Mixes and applies selective and non-selective herbicides or fertilizers in properly calibrated proportions to lawns. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
