Description
Under general direction, provides a broad range of clerical and administrative duties for one or more attorneys. Requires knowledge of document formats of a legal nature such as contracts, briefs, summonses, complaints, and motions. Must understand technical legal terminology. Requires knowledge of word processing software and other organization software programs. May have client contact requiring discretion and judgment. Typically requires a Bachelor degree and four to seven years of experience. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
