Evidence/Records Coordinator

Description

Under general supervision, maintains and disposes of all evidence, impounded property, and property held for safekeeping. Reviews and maintains criminal and non-criminal reports, department arrest logs, and other records files in compliance with state law and department policies. Develops and revises policies affecting records, evidence, and property. Performs background record check requests and processes Freedom of Information Act requests. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
