Description
Directs strategic organization development for a complex division. Plans, supervises and implements ongoing organization-wide employee surveys and other organizational studies. Analyzes complex data and initiates ongoing recommendations to improve the organization effectiveness, culture, climate and leadership based on results of employee surveys and other information gathering methods. Provides direction and project leadership to cross-functional initiatives in accordance with the achievement of strategic goals. Develops, initiates and supports the creation of leadership development and training based on best practices. Plans, supervises and develops programs for senior leadership development. Employees in this classification typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree. Under FLSA, this is the exempt job classification for this title. Incumbents in this position must meet the full criteria for exempt status: salary level, salary basis, and duties tests.
