Instructional Designer Assistant

Description

Under direct supervision, plans, organizes, and assists in developing training curricula, materials, and programs to meet specific training needs. Helps analyze learning needs and partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content. Assists in coordinating skill assessments and training. Works with management to ensure course materials are current and relevant to training needs. May facilitate training during introduction of new courses. Helps track and analyze training programs by examining learner's satisfaction levels, proficiency testing, and job performance. Assists in providing instruction and guidance to trainers. May include the design of computer-based training programs. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
