Radiopharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager

Description

Manage the quality assurance program to ensure consistency with established policies, procedures and philosophy for quality control of radiopharmaceutical production for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) studies. Develop, implement and document activities relating to the Quality Control Program and Quality Assurance Program to meet established local, state and federal regulatory expectations. This includes reviewing quality control data for PET radiopharmaceutical production and preparing written reports on status and improvement plans for quality assurance program for PET radiopharmaceutical production. This position requires a bachelors degree in Chemistry and at least 5 years of experience in the synthesis and quality control analysis of PET radiopharmaceuticals. Employees in this classification typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree. Under FLSA, this is the exempt job classification for this title. Incumbents in this position must meet the full criteria for exempt status: salary level, salary basis, and duties tests.
