Description
Under general supervision, assists in forecasting talent the organization needs to execute their business strategy and educates Workforce Planning Analyst team on analysis and expected staffing outcomes. Consults with senior leadership for major organizational staffing initiatives, such as opening of new facilities, hospitals, etc.; assumes a lead role in development of department structure, recruitment plans, change management, etc. Lead cross-functional organization-wide teams to address issues related to environmental changes; create new policies, develop management materials, provide training and dept-specific consultations. Partners with senior leadership to establish strategic plan for retention at an organizational level; create action plans, educational resources; web-based tools; proactively plan for changing market conditions. Acts in an expert capacity, sharing knowledge and making contributions beyond one's current role. Typically requires a Bachelor degree and more than eight years of experience. Employees in this classification typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree. Under FLSA, this is the exempt job classification for this title. Incumbents in this position must meet the full criteria for exempt status: salary level, salary basis, and duties tests.
