Description
Under general supervision, responds and researches payroll inquiries such as salary analyses, salary prorations, payroll earnings records, retiree benefit payments, Workers Compensation payments. Analyzes payroll data, reviews payroll reports and corrects errors. Process salary payment reversals and payroll updates, as well as accounts receivable documentation, as needed. Review retroactive appointment changes, analyze impact on general ledger distribution of salary expenses and process general ledger corrections accordingly. Audit financial transactions and analyze potential changes. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
