Description
Provide advice and guidance to students relating to graduation policies, academic requirements, registration, and enrollment. Manages school registrar operations (graduate or undergraduate) which include maintenance of student records, publication of reports, course registration, degree audits, and certifications. Participates in the development of regulations governing such areas as academic calendar, curricula requirements, and enrollment management. Works to develop marketing plans for recruitment, orientation and retention of students. Coordinates efforts in admissions, records and registration, and advising. Establish and recommend new procedures when needed, and ensure existing procedures are followed. Act as authorizing body for School when appropriate. This is the top registrar position for a school. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
