Description
Works collaboratively with faculty and staff in the production and/or coordination of distance learning courses and supplemental materials. Assists in the development of instructional materials that are functional, intuitive, informative, and consistent with sound instructional design principles. Provides technical support (hardware and software) for course labs, distance learning classroom equipment, and audio-visual equipment. May be responsible for managing and performing website editorial activities including gathering and researching information that enhances the value of the site. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, audio-visual education, distance learning or related field. Typically will have an area of specialization such as multimedia support, instructional design, media classroom support, etc. Requires 1-2 years experience in production management, web page design, HTML, and web graphics. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
