Production Control Analyst Associate

Description

Under general supervision, assists with managing and controlling the processing of programs and peripheral equipment on distributed computer systems to ensure the highest levels of service and system availability are attained. Helps establishes production runs, ensuring that appropriate job control language, run documentation and data files are available. Assists in job set-up Performs problem identification, escalation and resolution. Communicates status of operations to allow for immediate response to service disruptions. Knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization. Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks. Work is routine and instructions are usually detailed. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
