Description

Utilizes a thorough understanding of accounting and finance principles to deliver financial systems solutions that drive value and decision making across the institution. Develops new solutions for end users to assist in more informed business decisions and create efficiencies. Document standard processes and common problems. Integrate systems, including transforming data and troubleshooting common tasks. Troubleshoot problems, resolve system issues, and improve overall data quality and system use. Work with users to minimize disruptions and encourage full use of the system. Support and maintain financial information technology (IT) system, including implementing modules and upgrades. Bachelor?s degree and five or more years? experience. Knowledge of accounting and finance principles. Employees in this classification typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision-making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree. Under FLSA, this is the exempt job classification for this title. Incumbents in this position must meet the full criteria for exempt status: salary level, salary basis, and duties tests.
