Trust and Annuity Services Administrator

Description

Coordinates administrative oversight of the deferred gift programs, life insurance gift program and trusts managed by outside trustees. Receives and processes new gifts, prepares monthly performance reports, coordinates program administration with custodian bank, manages donor gift and payment records, and coordinates annual and semi-annual reports to donors and beneficiaries. Prepares gift illustrations and charitable deduction calculations, provides transfer instructions for incoming gifts, serve as a contact for donors with issues regarding their deferred gifts or payments, and manages gift records, documentation and accounting. Tracks campaign counting totals for planned gifts and provide monthly campaign reports. Obtains updates on policies for the insurance database, coordinates issues regarding gifted life insurance policies with other departments, and processes premium payments. Employees in this classification typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree. Under FLSA, this is the exempt job classification for this title. Incumbents in this position must meet the full criteria for exempt status: salary level, salary basis, and duties tests.
