Credit and Collection Clerk Associate

Description

Performs a wide variety of credit and collection functions. Reviews and monitors credit sources, credit files, customer applications and delinquent accounts. Obtains required information from credit organizations, banks and loan associations. Maintains records on credit risks, delinquent accounts and incomplete files. Sends follow-up letters. Accepts payment on certain accounts. Operates a personal computer and appropriate software packages or its equivalent. 0 - 2 years of professional experience. Entry level for degreed individuals, or equivalent combination. Knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization. Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks. Work is routine and instructions are usually detailed. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
