Revenue Cycle Accounts Receivable/Reimbursement Specialist

Description

Provide expert knowledge and analysis of payer rules and regulations for both hospital and physician billing. Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and system enhancements to ensure optimal reimbursement with regulatory requirements across Revenue Cycle units. Provide reimbursement data to Coding Director for reporting purposes. Analyze CMS and Medicaid regulations related to billing for multiple clinical specialties and implement processes to ensure compliance with regard to specific payer system requirements. action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position meet the criteria for exempt status.
