Responsible for the operation of production scanner(s) for digital reformatting projects. Operates scanning equipment to capture digital images of disbound book and journal volumes, performs quality control and writes to CD for delivery to clients. Gathers information about the structure of scanned volumes using a computer program. Provides ongoing information about production rates and production capacity. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
