Description
Designs, develops, implements and promotes awareness of the organization's business ethics policies. Monitors the organization's standards of conduct and ethical relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, employees and the communities in which business is conducted. Reviews summaries of investigations into allegations of unethical activity from various sources and recommends safeguards to prevent future breaches of the organization's ethics policies. Applies broad theoretical job knowledge, fundamental theories, principles, and concepts acquired through education, certification and/or past experience. Many jobs require a bachelor's degree, but some do not. Specified degrees should be related to the work being performed. Develops existing knowledge and skills by performing structured assignments. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision after receiving guidance and direction from others. Solves routine or standard requests or problems. Interprets, analyzes, and explains facts, policies, and practices. May recommend solutions. Responds to customer needs and may identify solutions to standard requests. Explains standard information. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
