Description
Designs, develops, implements and promotes awareness of the organization's business ethics policies. Monitors the organization's standards of conduct and ethical relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, employees and the communities in which business is conducted. Reviews summaries of investigations into allegations of unethical activity from various sources and recommends safeguards to prevent future breaches of the organization's ethics policies. Applies knowledge, theories, principles, and concepts acquired through education or certification and/or a few years of work-related experience, on-the-job training or vocational training. Many jobs require a bachelor's degree, but some do not. Specified degrees should be related to the work being performed. Expands knowledge and broadens skills within own function. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision; prioritizes, organizes, and makes decisions related to own work to meet objectives. Takes initiative to analyze possible solutions. Provides solutions to moderately complex or infrequently occurring problems. Understands customer needs and identifies solutions to non-standard requests. May serve as escalation resource for less experienced employees. Explains information and may persuade others. This job is exempt under FLSA. Incumbents in this position must meet the full criteria for exempt status: salary level, salary basis, and duties tests.
