Technical Writer Associate

Description

Writes technical reports, brochures, and/or manuals for internal documentation, customer reference or publications. Analyzes technical literature available, writes descriptive copy, and verifies documentation with related departments. May coordinate the production and distribution of material. 0 - 2 years of professional experience. Entry level for degreed individuals, or equivalent combination. Knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization. Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks. Work is routine and instructions are usually detailed. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
