Mechanical Engineer Associate

Description

Performs a variety of engineering work in planning and design of products, tools, engines, machines and other mechanically functioning equipment and mechanical industrial processes; has oversight for production, installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of such equipment, including centralized heat, gas, water and steam systems. Works with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of robotics to increase production quality, efficiency, or volume. 0-1 year professional experience. Entry level for employees with Bachelor Degree or equivalent. Knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization. Using established procedures and working under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks. Work is routine and instructions are usually detailed. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
