Clinical Business Analyst Associate

Description

Under direct supervision, assists in the planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of clinical system(s) to support patient care delivery. Assists in analysis of department and end-user business needs, documentation of requirements, and translation of requirements into proper system specifications utilizing their clinical background and knowledge of The Joint Commission requirements, other health care compliance regulations and electronic medical record. Using current and future end-user and business needs, assists in developing procedures, and work flow to provide application solutions that support and improve operations. Builds order items, dictionaries, forms, and simple order sets. Maintains continuity of data items between interfaced systems. Under immediate supervision, responds to request for end-user support and participates in system implementation. An Associate's degree in a relevant allied health discipline and 2-3 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
