Business Process Consultant Senior

Description

Responsible for work that is complex and varied in nature related to systems process analysis, design, and simulation. Requires highest level understanding of organization's business systems and industry requirements. Focus is on process analysis and re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams. Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts. May provide guidance/training to more junior staff. May lead re-engineering team and act as project manager in some cases. Defines and discerns key aspects of a problem and develops an integrated solution within a broad technical and business context of significant impact. Employees in this classification typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree. Under FLSA, this is the exempt job classification for this title. Incumbents in this position must meet the full criteria for exempt status: salary level, salary basis, and duties tests.
