Clinical Information Analyst Associate

Description

Collects clinical information from medical records, patient flow sheets and electronic data sources for the purpose of producing measures of process and outcomes of care. Identifies, investigates and helps resolve problems with data quality. Enters data into relevant software tools. Produces performance reports for review and evaluation by supervisor and the nurses and physicians responsible for implementing improvement actions. Has clinical experience (e.g., respiratory therapy, lab, R.N.) and report generating skills. Has B.S. degree or relevant experience. Work instructions are established and detailed. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
