Project Lead Manager

Description

Oversees the delivery of multiple and/or complex projects. Coordinates the activities of multiple project managers, assigns and coordinates resources to projects and project objectives and monitors progress. Develops project plans and facilitates resolution of all issues to reach project goals. Defines priorities and drives project accordingly. Manages and communicates ongoing changes in tasks, goals or performance. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks. Monitors departmental budgets. Acknowledged expert in field. Typically requires a Bachelor degree and more than eight years of experience. Employees in this classification typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree. Under FLSA, this is the exempt job classification for this title. Incumbents in this position must meet the full criteria for exempt status: salary level, salary basis, and duties tests.
