Strategic Planner Intermediate Healthcare

Description

Responsible for planning analyses to support senior Strategic Planning staff, clinical and administrative leaders, and planning projects. May conduct special studies in areas such as patient origin, market share, demographic, market, and competitor analyses. May create documents, websites, and brochures to communicate planning information. Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization. Under supervision, performs work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character. Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required. This position requires 1-3 years professional experience. Employees in this classification typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree. Under FLSA, this is the exempt job classification for this title. Incumbents in this position must meet the full criteria for exempt status: salary level, salary basis, and duties tests.
