Continuous Improvement Specialist Associate

Description

Assists in the analysis and measurement of the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. Helps research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data. Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost. Aids in determining how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes. May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, process-driven systems requirements. Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills. Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers. Solves a range of straightforward problems. Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are non-exempt.
