Sales Representative Associate

Description

Under direct supervision, this position represents the least skilled and/or experienced level sales professional, yet is not considered a trainee. The assumption is that this position has received basic company orientation and/or some limited sales training, and is beginning to generate revenue and/or profit margin in their accounts and territories. Responsible for learning sales techniques and reporting daily or weekly activity to a Field Sales Manager. Generally focuses on local market accounts and prospects and participates on key account sales teams. Typically requires up to three years of experience in sales and does not necessarily include moderate knowledge of or previous work within the industry. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
