Description

Under general supervision, assists in the creation, promotion, implementation, and measurement of marketing communication programs for assigned products or brands consistent with overall organizational strategic goals. Incumbents in this position commonly assist senior level analysts in advising department units in creating goal-based marketing communication strategies, activities and programs for assigned products or brands. Has a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and two to five years of professional experience directly related to the duties of the position. Understands and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures. Employees in this classification typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Primary activities and decision making authority are predominantly performed independently affecting business operations to a substantial degree. Under FLSA, this is the exempt job classification for this title. Incumbents in this position must meet the full criteria for exempt status: salary level, salary basis, and duties tests.
