Receptionist

Description

Receives outside visitors, directs or escorts visitors or employees to their destination. May verify or make appointments, check credentials, issue visitor passes, or log-in visitors. May answer telephone, take messages, and forward calls, using a multiple-function telephone. Furnish information to callers. Alertness and judgment essential to meeting public and handling interactions. May also perform additional typing, clerical, or administrative duties as needed. Under FLSA, incumbents in this position are nonexempt.
